2626 AN ACT ELIMINATING THE SALES TAX ON RESOLD CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR.

2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3030 That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the sale of any previously sold article of clothing or footwear intended to be worn on or about the human body that is sold at a consignment store, used goods store, thrift store or similar establishment shall be exempt from the sales tax.
