AN ACT REQUIRING A WARNING LIGHT WHILE FLAMMABLE FUEL IS BEING DISPENSED.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require any fuel truck delivering home heating fuel or propane to display a light clearly visible to passersby at any time when such fuel truck is dispensing flammable fuel.

Statement of Purpose: 

To alert citizens to a potential safety hazard during the dispensing of fuels.
