2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2015) The Department of Children and Families shall initiate a study to determine whether policy and procedural changes within the department may increase the safety of children within the state. The department shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to children on or before February 1, 2016.
