AN ACT CONCERNING TIMELINES FOR THE COMPLETION OF MANDATORY BINDING ARBITRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require all municipal employers and municipal employee organizations engaged in mandatory binding arbitration to complete negotiations within one year from the date that binding arbitration was imposed by the state. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide rigid timelines for the completion of municipal binding arbitrations.
