AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER TO ESTABLISH CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SURETY BAIL BOND AGENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 700f of the general statutes be amended to require the Insurance Commissioner to establish continuing education requirements for surety bail bond agents and the number of hours for and subjects to be covered by any training courses, and to approve the schools at which such courses will be taught.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Insurance Commissioner to establish continuing education requirements for surety bail bond agents and the number of hours for and subjects to be covered by any training courses, and to approve the schools at which such courses will be taught.
