28 | 28 | That section 51-217a of the general statutes be amended to provide that a court shall have authority to excuse a prospective juror from jury service upon a finding that: (1) Such prospective juror is a registrar of voters or a deputy registrar of voters, and (2) the prospective jury service would occur within three business days prior to, or five business days following, an election. | |
