AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEES AND AN OPTIONAL DEFINED CONTRIBUTION RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow all state employees the option of participating in a privately administered defined contribution benefit retirement plan in lieu of the current defined benefit system.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow state employees the option to choose private retirement plan over the current pension system.
