AN ACT PROHIBITING A PENALTY INCREASE FOR THE EARLY WITHDRAWAL OF A CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 36a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit an increase in the penalty for the early withdrawal of a certificate of deposit beyond the set contractual limit.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit an increase in the penalty for the early withdrawal of a certificate of deposit beyond the set contractual limit.
