AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE MINIMUM BUDGET REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 10-262i of the general statutes be amended to exempt a local or regional board of education from the minimum budget requirement that has experienced significant decline in student enrollment over a two-year period.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt school districts that have experienced a significant decline in student enrollment from the minimum budget requirement.
