AN ACT CONCERNING THE PHASE-IN OF THE INCREASED CREDIT REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 10-221a of the general statutes be amended to require (1) a minimum of twenty-three credits in order to graduate from high school for classes graduating in 2020 and 2021, (2) a minimum of twenty-four credits in order to graduate from high school for classes graduating in 2022 and 2023, and (3) a minimum of twenty-five credits in order to graduate from high school for classes graduating in 2024, and each graduating class thereafter. Statement of Purpose: To phase in the new high school graduation credit requirements.
