AN ACT REQUIRING LOCAL ZONING ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO ENFORCE RESTRICTIONS CONCERNING THE PLANTING OF RUNNING BAMBOO.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22a-381e of the general statutes be amended to require local zoning enforcement officers to enforce restrictions concerning the planting of running bamboo. Additionally, any monies from such fines would be paid to the applicable municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for local enforcement of the running bamboo law.
