AN ACT LIMITING THE USE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT HEALTH CENTER'S PATIENT INFORMATION BY THE UCONN FOUNDATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the foundation of The University of Connecticut established under section 4-37f of the general statutes to use information obtained from patients at The University of Connecticut Health Center only to solicit charitable funds supporting the health center and its programs and services.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the use of information concerning The University of Connecticut Health Center's patients.
