| 30 | 30 | That chapter 47 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any foundation, as defined in section 4-37e of the general statutes, that is established for The University of Connecticut (1) is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes, except that such foundation may withhold the identity of any donor who requests such nondisclosure in writing; (2) is permitted to use funds of the foundation only for (A) scholarships or other direct financial aid, and (B) programs, services or activities at one or more of the institutions under its jurisdiction; and (3) is required to be self-sustaining and is prohibited from receiving any funds from The University of Connecticut. | |
