AN ACT CONCERNING HOSPITAL CHARGES FOR UNINSURED PATIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require hospitals to charge uninsured patients the same amount for a service rendered to such patient as the amount a hospital receives from an insurance company for the same service rendered to an insured person.
Statement of Purpose:
To require hospitals to charge uninsured patients the same amount for a service rendered to such patient as the amount a hospital receives from an insurance company for the same service rendered to an insured person.
