AN ACT CONCERNING REPORTS OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE AT HOSPITALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require (1) hospitals to report annually to the Department of Public Health on all cases of infectious disease, and (2) the department to publish a summary of information received from the hospitals on its web site and to report the summary of information at a public hearing before the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public health.
Statement of Purpose:
To require hospitals to report cases of infectious disease to the Department of Public Health.
