AN ACT PROVIDING MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR CHIROPRACTIC CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-28e of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to amend the Medicaid state plan to include treatment by a chiropractor licensed under section 20-27 as an optional service covered under the Medicaid program.
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the Medicaid state plan to allow for Medicaid coverage of chiropractic care.
