AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY REGARDING GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the Department of Education conduct a study on how to better address the intellectual, social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students in schools and how to extend and advance curriculum materials through the use of technology to provide instruction to gifted and talented students without promoting such students to higher grade levels.

Statement of Purpose: 

To conduct a study on how to improve instruction to gifted and talented students.
