AN ACT REQUIRING THE LABELING OF FOOD AND DRINK PRODUCTS PACKAGED IN MATERIALS THAT CONTAIN BISPHENOL-A.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the labeling of food and drink products that are packaged in materials that contain bisphenol-A.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide information to consumers that allows them to avoid the purchase and consumption of products that contain harmful toxins.
