2424 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CAUSE OF ACTION AGAINST THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOR FAILURE TO DESIGNATE LANDS FOR USE BY OPERATORS OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to designate lands for use by operators of recreational vehicles and provide that failure to make such designation shall be punishable by a fine of one hundred dollars per day. Additionally, there shall be established a private cause of action against said agency for persons aggrieved by said agency's refusal to comply with the provisions of the general statutes requiring the designation of such lands.
