AN ACT CONCERNING THE MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX CREDIT ALLOWED UNDER THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to restore the maximum amount of credit under the personal income tax for property tax paid on a taxpayer's primary residence or motor vehicle to the amount of five hundred dollars. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide tax relief to families by restoring the maximum property tax credit under the personal income tax to five hundred dollars.
