AN ACT CONCERNING TAX-FREE ACCOUNTS FOR DISABILITY EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow individuals to establish and contribute to tax-free savings accounts pursuant to a state program that meets the requirements of the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act for the purpose of paying for disability-related expenses.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow tax-free accounts for disability-related expenses that meet the requirements of the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act.
