AN ACT PERMITTING THE WAIVER OF STATE AGENCY ELECTRONIC FILING REQUIREMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That sections 4-60r and 4-60s of the general statutes be amended to permit any state agency that requires individuals or businesses to file documents electronically to waive such requirement upon the request of the individual or business, as long as the individual or business can demonstrate good cause for such waiver. Statement of Purpose: To allow agencies to waive electronic filing requirements to ease burdens on businesses and individuals without access to a computer.
