AN ACT CONCERNING YOUTH HOMELESSNESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Housing, in consultation with the Commissioners of Children and Families and Social Services, to develop a plan not later than January 2016 to ameliorate youth homelessness, including, but not limited to, determining the number of homeless youth and devising strategies to address homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
Statement of Purpose:
To ameliorate homelessness among youth.
