| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that any former member of the state employees retirement system who (1) was previously employed by the state, (2) left state service for a period longer than the tenure of such member's employment with the state, and (3) is currently employed by the state, shall be entitled to retirement credit for such earlier period of service, provided such member applies to the State Employees Retirement Commission for such credited service. | |
