AN ACT CONCERNING STATE REPRESENTATION ON THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY BOARD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Transportation be required to negotiate with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to place two residents of the state on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority board.
Statement of Purpose:
To obtain state representation on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority board overseeing Metro-North rail service.
