AN ACT CONCERNING DRIVING WITH A PET ON THE DRIVER'S LAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-296aa of the general statutes be amended to specify that a person driving with a pet on the driver's lap is guilty of distracted driving.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit driving with a pet on the driver's lap, making highways safer.
