| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to require each employer in the state to provide paid leave on November eleventh of each year, in recognition of Veterans' Day, to any veteran if November eleventh falls on the veteran's regularly scheduled work day, and, if such veteran must work on November eleventh, such veteran be paid at a rate equal to one and one-half times such veteran's hourly rate. | |
