2626 AN ACT CONCERNING EQUITABLE FUNDING FOR REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTERS OPERATING MAGNET SCHOOL PROGRAMS.

2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3030 That section 10-264l of the general statutes be amended to require that any regional educational service center operating an interdistrict magnet school program be entitled to receive a per pupil grant that is no less than ninety per cent of the per pupil grant for (1) a regional education service center operating an interdistrict magnet school program that is assisting the state in meeting the goals of the 2008 stipulation and order for Milo Sheff, et al. v. William A. O'Neill, et al., as extended, or the goals of the 2013 stipulation and order for Milo Sheff, et al. v. William A. O'Neill, et al., or (2) a state charter school, pursuant to section 10-66ee of the general statutes; and further that section 10-264i of the general statutes be amended to require that all regional educational service centers operating an interdistrict magnet school program receive the same reimbursement rate for purposes of a transportation grant.
