AN ACT CONCERNING A ONE-TIME ADJUSTMENT TO THE EDUCATION COST SHARING GRANT FORMULA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to make a one-time adjustment to the education cost sharing grant formula for the town of Haddam to reflect the decrease in such town's grand list as a result of the closure of the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Plant.
Statement of Purpose:
To adjust the education cost sharing grant formula to compensate the town of Haddam for the closure of the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Plant.
