AN ACT CONCERNING HOME EDUCATED STUDENT'S PARTICIPATION IN INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to prevent a board of education from denying a student who is home schooled from participating in a high school sports program solely on the basis of home schooling.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow home educated students the right to participate in interscholastic athletics.
