24	24		AN ACT CONCERNING HOME ENERGY SOLUTIONS.

26	26		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28	28		Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2015) (a) As used in this section:

30	30		(1) "Home Energy Solutions program" means a home energy efficiency audit and energy conservation program funded by electric distribution company ratepayers for eligible ratepayers.

32	32		(2) "Home Energy Solutions approved contractor" means a business entity selected by an electric distribution company to perform audit and energy conservation services under the Home Energy Solutions program.

34	34		(3) "Applicant Home Energy Solutions contractor" means any business entity that applies to an electric distribution company for selection as a Home Energy Solutions approved contractor.

36	36		(4) "Bid" means a price list submitted to an electric distribution company by an applicant Home Energy Solutions contractor for potential selection as a Home Energy Solutions approved contractor.

38	38		(b) Each electric distribution company, as defined in section 16-1 of the general statutes, shall annually post on its Internet web site a list of all bids submitted by applicant Home Energy Solutions contractors during the preceding year.
