AN ACT CONCERNING THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS IN ANIMAL SHELTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the review of animal shelter policies in order to assure the humane treatment of animals and to establish best practices for a "no kill" policy.
Statement of Purpose:
To assure the humane treatment of animals in animal shelters.
