AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FLAT RATE OF TAXATION UNDER THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to establish a rate of five per cent taxation under the personal income tax for all nonexempt individuals.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a flat rate of taxation under the personal income tax.
