AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC EARNED BENEFIT STATEMENTS FOR RETIRED STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the State Comptroller to offer retired state employees the option of receiving their monthly earned benefit statements electronically instead of by mail.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of producing and mailing earned benefit statements to retired state employees.
