AN ACT PROHIBITING INVOLVEMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS IN CAMPAIGNS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-258 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any election official from being affiliated with a candidate's campaign for elective office.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent the appearance of impropriety through election officials' involvement with campaigns.
