AN ACT REQUIRING THE AMOUNT OF STATE AND FEDERAL GASOLINE TAXES TO BE POSTED AT THE PUMP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the amount of state and federal gasoline taxes to be posted at the pump along with the per gallon price of gasoline.
Statement of Purpose:
To fully inform consumers about the rate of gasoline taxes upon purchase.
