AN ACT REQUIRING REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNERS TO OBTAIN CONTINUING EDUCATION RELATED TO THE STATE BUILDING CODE AND FIRE SAFETY CODE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require registered interior designers to obtain four continuing education units every three years related to the State Building Code and the Fire Safety Code.

Statement of Purpose: 

To ensure public safety by requiring registered interior designers to participate in continuing education regarding the State Building Code and the Fire Safety Code.
