2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 960 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a judge, absent good cause, from setting a bail amount in excess of five thousand dollars in the case of a person charged only with a misdemeanor.
