AN ACT CONCERNING PROBATE COURT HEARINGS CONDUCTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE FILING OF PERIODIC ACCOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 45a-177 of the general statutes be amended to exempt small trusts from the hearing required in connection with the triennial filing of periodic accounts when the cost of such hearing exceeds income earned by the trust.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the hearing requirements applicable to small trusts when the cost of such hearing exceeds income earned by the trust.
