AN ACT CONCERNING A MINOR CHILD WHO IS A BENEFICIARY OF AN IRREVOCABLE LIFE INSURANCE TRUST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 45a of the general statutes be amended to provide that the parent or guardian of a minor child beneficiary of an irrevocable life insurance trust shall designate a virtual representative for the minor child and that such virtual representative shall designate a person to receive an annual notice which informs such beneficiary that he or she may receive moneys being paid as premiums.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect minor children beneficiaries.
