AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANELS ON CONDOMINIUMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 47-216 and 47-244 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no common interest community association or condominium association may ban the installation of solar panels on privately owned condominium units.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow residents of common interest communities to install solar panels on privately owned condominium units and thereby enjoy the benefits of solar energy.
