AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE USE OF POWER DREDGES FOR GATHERING SHELLFISH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 26-215 of the general statutes be amended to authorize the use of power dredges for the gathering of shellfish, rather than requiring the use of hand power.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for mechanically-assisted shellfishing.
