AN ACT EXEMPTING VOTER PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION FROM THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exempt certain personally identifiable information contained on any record of the registrars of voters concerning the registration of an elector from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the identity and privacy of registered voters.
