AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the Department of Public Health, in consultation with the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Education, (1) study the effects of violent video games on child and adolescent behavior and development, and (2) report on the results of the study to the public health committee before February 1, 2016.

Statement of Purpose: 

To study violent video games and their impact on young persons.
