AN ACT CONCERNING AUDITS OF CERTAIN ELECTIONS FOR THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to authorize the Secretary of the State, after an election for the office of state senator or state representative, to conduct an audit of all voting districts within the area served by such office when a question arises as to the accuracy of the results of such election.
Statement of Purpose:
To give the Secretary of the State greater authority in conducting post-election audits.
