AN ACT REDUCING THE SALES AND USE TAX RATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to provide that upon enactment of the 2013 federal Marketplace Fairness Act, or any subsequent corresponding federal legislation, the sales and use tax rate be reduced to six per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the sales and use tax rate.
