AN ACT CONCERNING NOTICE TO ALLOW FOR PUBLIC COMMENT PRIOR TO TREE CUTTING BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to provide notice to towns before said department cuts trees on state roads, to allow for public comment.
Statement of Purpose:
To require notice to towns to allow for public comment before the Department of Transportation cuts trees on state roads.
