AN ACT CONCERNING AN INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION PLAN FOR THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2015) (a) The Commissioner of Transportation, working in conjunction with the executive directors of the Connecticut Airport Authority and the Connecticut Port Authority, shall study opportunities to link ongoing projects on highways and at airports and ports, in order to foster the efficient movement of passengers and freight in and through the state.
(b) Not later than February 1, 2016, the commissioner shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation, on the findings and recommendations of the study undertaken pursuant to subsection (a) of this section.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
