AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2015) The Labor Commissioner shall conduct a study to evaluate the effectiveness of the current unemployment compensation system within the state. The commissioner shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public employees on or before February 1, 2016.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
