AN ACT INCREASING MAGNET SCHOOL FUNDING TO THE NEW LONDON SCHOOL DISTRICT TO ALIGN WITH STUDENT ENROLLMENT NUMBERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes and the current biennial budget be amended to increase interdistrict magnet school funding to the Department of Education, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017, for purposes of satisfying the magnet school student enrollment numbers for the New London school district.
Statement of Purpose:
To institute certain reimbursement entitlements to the New London school district to align with its status as an all magnet school district.
